Extra-Curricular
School life beyond the classroom is full of exciting options. It’s an important part of helping our students be well-rounded and active, happily participating in all sorts of activities.
We offer a range of teams and clubs students can be involved with, including music, sport and cultural activities.
Extracurricular activities are on the go throughout the year, and if there is an activity we don’t offer that our students are keen on, we do our best to make it an option, either at school or by partnering with local teams clubs.
Music
Students have the opportunity to join Decanta Laudem (School Choir) and a variety of bands. Individual music tuition is available through specialist music tutors.
Sport
We offer a range of summer and winter sports to junior and senior students.
Culture
Debating, Digital IT, Environment, Chess, Gaming, Film, Science, Mah Jong, and Book Club are just some amongst the wide variety of cultural clubs run at Whitby Collegiate.
Inter-house debating, drama and music competitions are held among the school's four Houses to encourage talent, creativity and competitive spirit within the school.
