Chairman’s Welcome

It is a great pleasure to share our story with you and give you a glimpse into the special world that is Whitby Collegiate.

We’ve created a unique educational experience here, where we help our students develop strong academic skills coupled with a deep connection to good character, so they’re well prepared for life at school and beyond our gates.

Whitby Collegiate is regularly ranked in the top four schools academically in the Wellington region. We have an excellent teacher to student ratio, a supportive learning environment and exceptional teachers that always go the extra mile to ensure students have everything they need to succeed and grow.

No two children are the same and we value and support that individuality. In the classroom, on the sports fields and planning for the future, we take the time to connect with each student and tailor an experience to deliver exactly what they need. 

Selecting a school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make.
