We are thrilled to announce that Year 8 student Gabriel Anthony has taken first place in the Year 7-10 category of the 2024 Samsung Solve for Tomorrow competition.
Thursday was a memorable and heartwarming day at Whitby Collegiate as we welcomed our grandparents to the school. This special event allowed us to celebrate and honour an important part of our school community.
The Whitby Collegiate Parents’ Association (WCPA) has had a busy first term, full of fun and achievements that will benefit our school community.
Based on the provisional academic results for 2023, Whitby Collegiate is poised to once again be recognised as one of the top academic schools in the country. Continuing to build on its previous academic success, Whitby Collegiate recently announced provisional NCEA results from 2023.
We want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made the Whitby Collegiate Foundation Gala Dinner on Saturday night a resounding success!
On Wednesday, our junior students rolled up their sleeves and got their hands dirty planting 1000 native trees and shrubs by the Duck Creek stream that runs through our school.
Whitby Collegiate is delighted to present our provisional NCEA results for 2022. Following on from outstanding pass rates over the past two years, these results continue the consistently high academic performance of the school.
This week was another example of Whitby Collegiate going from strength to strength with the opening of the Ioane Fiso Pavilion, named after the Proprietor, John Fiso’s son, Ioane.
Whitby Collegiate Alumnus, Roman Avery (Head Boy 2020), has made national news with his Vax-Scan machine that has helped over 10,000 New Zealanders get to their movie safely, and on time. It’s made life a whole lot easier and safer for Shoreline Cinema Waikanae staff and customers.
Whitby Collegiate achieves 6 scholarship examination passes including 2 outstanding awards putting Whitby Collegiate as one of the top academic schools nationally.
